The Jack Petchey Foundation has made a generous grant of £1,000 to support youngsters who stammer from parts of Essex, and North and East London. Stephen Corriette, Grants Manager for the Jack Petchey Foundation, visited the Michael Palin Centre to present the cheque. Stephen was really pleased to meet a group of young teenagers aged 16-18 who were attending a 1-day follow-up session after their 2-week Intensive Course in the summer. He talked to the group about Jack Petchey, now in his eighties, and how he had achieved his ambitions, and he urged the youngsters to aim high and assured them that with confidence they could achieve great things.
The Centre is grateful to the Foundation for their continuing interest and support.
